They kept pushing anyway, so I explained I’m unemployed, living with my parents, and the only thing in my name is my cat - so no insurance needed for me. Im from Runcorn and i picked up the phone when this number rang. Someone asked for me by name but as soon as i said yes, they just ended the call. It felt a bit odd to me, and after having a quick look, it turns out it was probably a scam call.

Somebody kept ringing me non stop about life insurance, even after I said i've already got coverage. She just wouldnt take no for an answer and kept pushing me to get extra policies. I told her I'm all set and not interested, then she just hung up on me. They kept calling me like 4 more times later that day, last one was as late as 9pm! I ended up blocking the number to stop it.

Got a call from a number that looked like it was in Runcorn but the person on the other end turned out to be from a call centre in South Africa. Said they were from a company reviewing life insurance and claimed they’d gotten my info from some “optimarket data” which they said I’d supposedly agreed to. Total nuisance. They were trying to push a life insurance deal on me without me asking. Kept asking for details and trying to figure out how much I pay for insurance. Really annoying cold call out of the blue.

Got a call from someone claiming to be an insurance firm wanting to know why I hadn’t signed up for life insurance. They asked for my full name, which is me, and then wanted me to confirm my address and dob. I told them if they have my info, then they should tell me what it is so I can confirm it. They could only recite my name and address but not my date of birth. Definitely smelled fishy - probably scammers, so watch out.
