Got a few calls from them, seemed like they just wanted to get updated info for their records. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so I’ve blocked the number!

Got a call from someone saying they were with the ‘Telecom Research Org’ and that ISDN lines were being shut down or something. Totally made up nonsense. They kept pressing for info about my company too. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

A person phoned me saying they were from a company that, as far as I can tell, stopped operating back in March 2024. They kept asking how many phones we had “on site” which seemed a bit odd.

We keep recordings of all calls that come in. They appear to have some simple details about our business. Other reviews are totally right. It's just not worth chatting with them. We’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

Someone rang me saying they were collecting info for some "ISDN switchoff" study (does that even exist?). I said straight away I don’t hand over details to random callers, and they hung up almost instantly. Pretty obvious it wasn't for my good!

Beware of calls claiming to be from THE TELECOMS RESEARCH ORGANISATION - this group actually shut down back in March 2024. The calls are coming from 4COM TECHNOLOGIES, a company that deals in telecom services and tries to pitch phone systems. They pretend to be doing Market Research about the ISDN/PSTN switch off, but really, they want to gather your business details so they can follow up with sales calls. Don't fall for it, and whatever you do, don’t give out any personal info!

I've received a call from 01913003752 claiming to have had a conversation with me previously, but I can assure you I've never had any interaction with them. It seems they're affiliated with a dubious outfit known as Rubix. Definitely a scam!

Got a call from someone claiming to be doing a survey for BT about copper wiring. They asked for the address, the number of phones we have, the name of our managing director, and how to properly address them. They tried to get the MD’s direct email but ended up accepting our general email. The caller seemed quite hurried and eager to gather details quickly. They didn't realise we don’t even use copper lines here.

They first checked my address, then started asking about the number of handsets I’ve got at the location. Really sounded like a sales pitch or some kind of scam. Got suspicious and just ended the call. Wanted some info on handheld phones, but it didn’t feel right.

Rubix keep ringing me, specifically Owen Davis and Adam Shore. I've told them to stop, but instead, one of their sales reps launched into a proper nasty and offensive tirade. They say they're following up on a sales call, but that’s not true. Honestly, it’s really annoying. Best just to ignore their calls.

I keep receiving calls from Owen Davis and Adam Shaw of Rubix, and they always begin by mentioning a chat we've supposedly had. However, I've never spoken to them! I did pick up once, hoping to ask them to cease the incessant ringing, but to my dismay, the sales rep was extremely rude and quite belligerent. It's becoming really frustrating dealing with them!

Some guy named Oliver rang up asking for my director, but I told him he wasn’t around. Then he wanted his mobile number, and I flat out said no way I’m giving that out. After that, he joked about sending a letter with a pigeon in case of emergencies and chuckled. I told him there’s no need for that kind of cheek, and then he just cut the call off.

As previously mentioned, the individual was rather secretive about the company's identity, behaving as if they were an intimate acquaintance of the director, who, I assure you, has no idea who this person is. The name given was Hayley Golding.

I had a rather peculiar encounter with a woman named Lydia, who seemed to think she was on intimate terms with the chap behind the number. She was rather coy about her location until I pried it out of her, at which point she mentioned something about ‘Rubix’. I had made it quite clear, on multiple occasions, that I didn’t wish to receive calls and requested to be taken off their list. Yet, it appears my pleas have been met with utter disregard, as I’ve had to block numerous numbers associated with this outfit. Quite frustrating, isn’t it?

This number keeps ringing my workplace. When I picked up, the caller refused to reveal which company they were representing. They said they wanted to speak with our company director about a previous conversation. Thing is, our director is rarely at the office and doesn’t answer the office line, only his mobile. So I said, “You must have his mobile if you spoke before,” and he immediately said no, which was obviously a fib. Felt like they were trying to con me or something.

Got a ring from this number earlier, and the bloke was asking for the CEO by his first name, like he personally knew him or summat. Kept saying the CEO wasn’t picking up on his mobile. Didn’t explain what the call was about at all. Pretty obvious it was a scam.

On 26/04/23, I got a call from someone wanting to talk to the CEO. I asked her where she was calling from, but she didn’t answer and just told me to pass on her name to the CEO, saying they'd recognise it. Such a waste of time.

They asked to speak to the director, calling like they were proper pals, and even asked if the director would know what it was about. I told them yes, we've chatted before. Then they said the director wasn’t here and promised to send an email. I told them not to bother since the director’s overseas and wouldn’t appreciate calls or emails. They then said they’d ring back later.

Got a call from a woman who insisted on speaking to our MD, but used his first name like she was mates with him or something. Got a call from someone saying they were from the ‘telecom research organisation’, asking loads of info about my company - like how many phone lines we've got and our address. this is definitely a con, they say they're from bt and that isdn lines will be ended in 2025. the guy running the show is called dan and i managed to catch his private mobile which is 07922-355-120. he slipped up and didn’t block his number on one call while bothering me. all the other times he’d hide it and hang up right after i picked up. if you want to have a bit of fun with them, give 07922355120 a ring.

Beware, this appears to be a fraudulent operation. They’re masquerading as representatives from BT, insisting that ISDN services will be discontinued by 2025. The individual behind this scheme is named Dan, and he can be reached at his personal mobile number, 07922-355-120. I found this out when he attempted to pester me and inadvertently revealed his number during one of his calls-he hadn’t withheld it! In subsequent calls, he cleverly blocked his number and would usually terminate the call before I had a chance to respond. Should you wish to take matters into your own hands and give these tricksters a taste of their own medicine, don’t hesitate to dial 07922-355-120.
