I received a rather bothersome, silent call from the number 01837080115, much like some other folks have reported. I'm situated in Midlothian, with Edinburgh being the nearest city.

Complete nuisance! I attempted to return the call, but the number seems to be invalid. What’s the purpose of these calls if they can’t be bothered to leave a message when the phone goes unanswered? Honestly, it’s baffling!

I received a rather suspicious phone call from a woman who insisted that it wasn't a cold call. When I inquired whether I had requested such a call, she abruptly ended the conversation. I've since blocked the number.

Purporting to be associated with 118, this caller is clearly out to gather information to peddle it to other firms for cold calling. It seems the Corporate TPS is failing miserably. - Caller: Bogus 118

Since I don't recognise the digits, I can only guess it was either some bothersome telemarketer or yet another one of those typical scams. I've now gone ahead and blocked the number.

Claiming to be from the "118 Directory Enquiries free listing service" and stating they need to update our company information annually. This is a first for me, but they had all the right details about the business, like our address and phone number. I simply went along with it. I’ll keep an eye on our communications to see if anything changes as a result.

Could someone please enlighten me about who is requesting the system upgrade for the 118 service?

I received a call from ‭01827 054207‬ but wasn't able to answer it. When I attempted to return the call using a different phone, I just got a constant engaged signal, as if the line isn't able to take any incoming calls. I've now gone ahead and blocked the number.

I've been registered with the Telephone Preference Service for nearly a decade now, yet I still find myself inundated with unsolicited calls. It’s been eight years since I’ve owned my home, yet those pesky calls keep coming through. It really makes you wonder just how outdated their contact lists are, doesn’t it?

Did not reveal their identity and are requesting personal information.

This number keeps ringing my partner's mother, but all they do is hang up and redial. I've tried returning the call, but it's just silence on the other end. It's really annoying! Could someone please just block this number?
