From what I've gathered over time, it seems that I receive the majority of my nuisance calls at about 2:00 in the afternoon, so I tend to let them ring out rather than pick up. Having gone through the comments regarding this specific number, I'm quite relieved that I chose not to answer!

When I picked up the phone, a rather authoritative male voice in English straightforwardly declared, “abandon call,” and promptly disconnected. It was a delightful and invigorating departure from the typical irritating sales chatter one often encounters.

I had a rather frustrating experience with 118's business directory. The chap on the line simply regurgitated our address and phone number back to me without any prior information from my side. All he did was confirm if the details were accurate!

It's that 118 lot again! They persist in ringing me up to verify an outdated business address, no matter how many times I've asked them to remove it from their records. It’s rather tiresome, really, as they seem to be peddling my information, resulting in a barrage of nuisance calls. Quite vexing!

I'm not really sure what to make of it. When I called back, there was silence, and I ended up just waiting indefinitely on hold.

Yet another call from the same old 118 business. They asked me, "Is this #business name#?" at #address#. I’m left wondering what their objective is. In the past, similar chats were about refreshing details for their business directory. But honestly, why the constant need for updates? I'm inundated with their calls! Is this just a cold call or something a bit dodgier like a phishing scam?
