This morning around 11:10, I got a call from 01635896113. Usually I ignore numbers I don’t recognise, but I decided to see who it was. The guy on the phone had a sort of oriental accent and kicked off by asking if I’d had my covid jabs, then claimed he could tell I was fully vaccinated and asked if I’d got any symptoms! He then went on to ask my opinion on the vaccination centre. Suddenly, he started probing about life insurance and who my provider was!!! It was so clear it was some dodgy scam trying to hook me in!

Got a call from someone claiming to be the NHS, checking up on the Covid jab feedback. Told them I wasn’t experiencing any side effects. Then they asked if I had a certificate, I told them it’s on the app anyway. If they’re from the NHS, surely they’d know that? Next thing, they started asking if I had life insurance, which made me wonder why the NHS would even care about that? I said I didn't have any. Then they just said have a nice day and to stay safe, calling me Mrs Angela which was a bit odd! Really strange call. Be careful and don’t hand over any info to calls like that!

Today my 80 year old mum got a call from this number. The caller began by asking if she’d had Covid, what symptoms she experienced, and if she’s had any jabs or uses the Covid app. Then out of nowhere they switched to asking about life insurance! My mum just ended the call there and then. They try to come across like they’re from the NHS or some official Covid team, but really they’re just after leads for life insurance. Honestly, it’s disgraceful behaviour.

Instead of answering properly, they dropped a really rude line saying, ‘I want your p***y, can you give it to me?’ Definitely a scam and really offensive. Stay clear of numbers like that!
