So this bloke rang me up but didn’t even bother to say who he was or the company he reps. He started off asking about PPI stuff, but when I couldn’t give him anything on that, he switched to asking about loans. I told him I’ve never had one and he just snapped off the call right away. Honestly, maybe we should give him a taste of his own medicine and keep calling back, asking for his info until he gets a bit fed up.

Got daily calls from some PPI firm even after telling them to stop. I've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service now. If they ring me once more after the 28 days it said it takes to kick in, I'll be taking it further.

I kept telling this guy I’m not interested but he just wouldn’t stop, kept going on about how I wasn’t listening. I told him, “You ring me, now you listen to me.” I even warned I’d start billing their company for every annoying call. Still, he just kept jabbering away.

I got a call from Red Star, they started off asking about my credit cards from before 2009 but when I told them I didn’t have any, they abruptly switched to talking about loans. The bloke was really cheeky, talking down to me like I was daft when I asked what exactly he meant by loans. Then he dragged out the word “loaaannn” like I was stupid or something for not getting it straight away. Proper annoying!

This number has rung me loads, and they've called me by both my maiden and married name at different times. They keep asking if I've gotten any refund for PPI or some account charge. When I ask where they got my number from or how their robo dialler picks its targets, nobody ever gives me a straight answer. I usually tell them quite firmly that I used to work at a bank for 17 years, so I’d never have taken out those kinds of policies. I usually finish by telling them they should find a proper job instead.

Got a call from mbna/virgin card, reckon it was back in 2009. They knew my old address straight away, had a proper chat, then out of the blue said they couldn’t assist and just hung up. Oddly enough, they asked about what i did for work, and i told them i’m a police officer.
