I received a call from an unidentified man who didn't provide his name or mention which company he was representing. He inquired about PPI first, but we didn't make any progress on that topic. Then he proceeded to ask about loans, to which I replied that I had never taken out any loans. He abruptly ended the call. I think it might be a good idea to continuously call him back and ask for his personal information. Let's see if this bothers him.

Got daily calls from some PPI firm even after telling them to stop. I've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service now. If they ring me once more after the 28 days it said it takes to kick in, I'll be taking it further.

I kept telling this guy I’m not interested but he just wouldn’t stop, kept going on about how I wasn’t listening. I told him, “You ring me, now you listen to me.” I even warned I’d start billing their company for every annoying call. Still, he just kept jabbering away.

When Red Star inquired about my credit card history prior to 2009, they swiftly shifted the conversation towards loans when I informed them that I didn't possess any credit cards. The man I spoke with was remarkably impolite and seemed to talk down to me when I questioned the topic of our discussion regarding loans. He even took the liberty of elongating the word "loaaannnn" as if he were concerned that I might not comprehend its meaning!

Received a call from this number, claiming to be from some sort of credit service. The chap on the line had such a condescending tone, it was unbearable. I keep receiving calls from this number, using both my maiden and married names. They ask me if I have received my PPI refund or account charge refund. I question them about how they obtained my number and how their automated system chooses people to call, but no one can provide a satisfactory answer. Then, I firmly inform them that I worked for a bank for 17 years and and knew better than to take out any policies. Finally, I suggest that these callers find a legitimate job instead.

Got a call from mbna/virgin card, reckon it was back in 2009. They knew my old address straight away, had a proper chat, then out of the blue said they couldn’t assist and just hung up. Oddly enough, they asked about what i did for work, and i told them i’m a police officer.
