I picked up when this number rang me, but as soon as I did, it cut off. When I dialled it back, it said the number couldn’t be found. From what I found, the 0161 code is linked to the Manchester area. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

Been getting calls from 0161 818 ial 9 over and over again, feels like some kind of trap. Looks like they’re using a random number generator or some automatic dialling setup. No idea why the government or phone companies haven't done anything about it yet - probably because they’re making money off these calls or something! Totally frustrating!

Just got a call, it buzzed three times and then cut off without leaving a voicemail. Seems like it might be a scam to me.

Got a missed call from a UK number but there was no voicemail left. I’m guessing it was one of those spam calls. Seriously, why hasn’t anyone done anything to block these from calling us? Feels like the authorities should be on top of this by now.

They ring every single day but just drop the call straight away.

Watch out for this number, loads of folks have had trouble with it. If they start asking for your payment info, especially if the person on the line sounds like they’re from India, it’s definitely a con. Better not share anything!
