I've received a flurry of calls in quick succession, predominantly from the Manchester area. They did leave a message, but it was totally unintelligible. I've gone ahead and blocked the number and flagged it as a scam.

It’s clear this caller is up to no good, trying to ensnare some unsuspecting elderly folk with that classic pay-per-minute callback trick. When he inquired whether I was called Margaret, it struck me as rather dodgy. I mean, there are plenty of Margarets around in their seventies and eighties, aren’t there?
