This number is definitely an o2 scammer. I rang them and I pressed 1 on my phone and then some bloke showed up on Skype, I could tell coz I heard the Skype noise. It’s dodgy for sure, they’re scammers! Please make sure you block them.

Received a call purporting to be from O2. After chatting with a lady who had an Indian accent, I consented to their latest plan. However, I was then switched over to another woman who spoke with an Irish accent. They subsequently sent me a text that appeared as if it came from O2 on my device, but I’ve heard these sorts of things can easily be faked. The initial caller claimed that O2 had my number due to my use of their hotspots, which seems rather dubious to me.

Got a bunch of calls from these lot. Picked up once and a woman named Jennifer with a pretty thick foreign accent started asking bout my phone plan. Told her I wasn't up for it and she then tried saying she was calling to help me save cash. Then she asked if my last name was 'Gang' which was funny cos I put "Gucci Gang" as my name when I ordered at McDonald's. Feels like I just bamboozled a scammer. 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

They kept ringing me like 4 times a day. I picked up once and they already knew my name. Then they said I’d just used McDonald’s WiFi (which I guess I did when I entered my info) and said I could get some sort of deal. I just hung up and haven’t heard from them again since.

Someone rang me saying they were from a third-party call centre doing work for o2, but apparently located in South Africa. They tried to pitch me some exclusive deals from o2 that you supposedly only get through their service.

Got a call from a posh lady who said she was from O2, but she wasn’t local. She had a proper southern accent and asked to speak to Dawn Stevens.
