Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, so I just ignored it. The person hung up before leaving a voicemail, which seemed dodgy, so I looked it up here. Sure enough, it’s a scam. Since I didn’t pick up, it’s just showing as "unknown" on my phone. Adding it to the block list. Cheers to everyone who’s shared their experiences!

I picked up and the person said they were from O2, trying to pitch some deals and asking about my data allowance on my current plan. Thing is, I’m not even with O2. Told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Then today, I noticed a missed call from a different Manchester landline number, but I can’t find anything about it anywhere online. Could these two numbers be connected somehow?
