This number has rung me about six times in the last fortnight, all on my PAYG spare phone with Three. I haven’t given my number out to anyone! Sure, if they’re trying to offer a better SIM deal like someone mentioned, I’m not interested in them pestering me. If I fancy switching, I’ll look into it and contact them myself. I’ve blocked this number because they seem really pushy and could get annoying.

If you’re signed up with the TPS, make sure you also report scam calls to the ICO, and any silent or dropped calls to OFCOM. These spam callers don’t really care about posts here, but they do take notice when you report them to OFCOM or the ICO. It only takes a couple minutes to do it online.

They go by fonehouse, and they called me about my THREE pay as you go, saying they could offer a decent deal since I've been with THREE a while. They actually gave me a really good sim-only plan, maybe not everyone’s cup of tea but it worked out well for me. Definitely not a scam, I checked with THREE myself and it’s all legit. The same SIM came today and I’m using it now. All good here :)

Somebody rang claiming to be from 3 Mobile and asked how much credit I usually add to my PAYG phone each month. I knew straight away it was dodgy, so I said I was too busy to chat and ended the call. I could do with a bit of assistance here. My grandmother received a call from this number and felt quite pressured, mistakenly believing it was O2, as her contract is nearing its renewal date. She thought she could set up a new contract that included data, calls, and messages for just £11. Unfortunately, she ended up sharing her bank details, and they mentioned that a new SIM would be sent to her address shortly. Could anyone shed some light on whether this company is genuine? She hasn’t received any confirmation via email or text, and she’s genuinely anxious they might siphon off money from her account without her permission. I've got a 3 network and noticed I had a call from this number at half past six on the evening of 14th March back in 2017. I've since looked into it and found out it’s associated with spam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.
