I received a dodgy call on the mobile that my daughter uses for her Pokemon Go adventures.

Got a blocked number calling me, pretty sure it's just some telemarketer trying to sell something.

I picked up and told them I have family in Manchester. There was a bit of noise in the background, like they’d accidentally called me from their pocket or something, then they just ended the call. I've blocked the number now, but I’m worried my phone number’s probably on some active list now, since I’ve basically confirmed it’s real by answering :-(

Received a call purporting to be from EE, inquiring about the specifics of my existing contract while presenting an enticing upgrade offer. It leaves me wondering-if they truly are EE, how on earth can they be unaware of the particulars of my current agreement?

Someone said they were from EE but it was defo not legit. EE really needs to tighten up their security, cos it feels like someone with EE’s info handeled it badly and passed it around. They had info on me that was more than a year old and totally off.

Some bloke was rambling on about EE, but honestly I could barely catch what he was saying. They buzz me almost daily. I tried pretending not to hear, and when I did pick up, I told them to stop calling me but it didn’t make a difference. Now, when I pick up, I say “Alright, just hang on a sec” then leave the phone on the desk. Maybe that annoys them as much as they drive me barmy!

Looks like they’re some kind of EE reseller. A few years back, I got a cold call and ended up renewing with them, but they already had my info - something only EE could’ve given them. Somehow I ended up with an extra contract on top of my existing one that hadn’t even finished yet. I sorted it all out with EE in the end. Now that my contract’s almost up again, they’ve probably got my renewal details and have started calling me again. I’ve just been ignoring their calls this time.

Got a couple of calls from Manchester recently. Picked up the first time but no-one was on the line. Seems like dodgy scammers, probably connected to the firm that bought out Orange. Can't write the new company name ‘cos it gets flagged. Won't be picking up their calls anymore, once is plenty!

This number has been ringing me nonstop for the last few days. I just picked up today. It was a bloke, but I could barely hear him 'cause the background was super loud and the call kept cutting out. He said he was working with EE or something and started asking me loads of questions - stuff I reckon EE would already have on file. When I asked who exactly he was, a bit firmly I admit, he just dropped the call.

they kept ringing and then just dropping the call. today they rang again and said they were calling about my EE partner’s forward house. when i asked what they wanted, the woman told me to “stop being so rude” and then ended the call straight away. really bad behaviour and not ok at all.
