I got a call about an accident I supposedly had a while back. They said I was owed a category b payout for stress from the other driver’s insurance and that the file was about to be closed, so I had to claim today or miss out. The person on the phone was quite polite and didn’t pressure me too much. But when I asked who exactly she was representing, her answer was vague and confusing. That made me suspicious, so I found a way to cut the call short without sharing any info. Before hanging up, she tried to arrange a time to call me back when I wouldn’t be free, which seemed odd.

Today, I received a rather peculiar phone call from a lady who said she represented something called the "Accident Road Helpline Agency." She inquired about a car accident that supposedly took place nearby Liverpool last week. The thing is, I haven’t set foot in that part of the world for more than three years! Once I mentioned this, she abruptly ended the call. Sounds like one of those dodgy scams, if you ask me!
