I reckon it was just a telemarketer. When I picked up, they started on about some great deals that might catch my eye. I asked for details, but then they wanted my name, age and address before saying anything else. Not happening, no way!

Some bloke rang me up about some damage to my car that he said I’d reported. I told him I don’t have any damage on my car and just ended the call.

Got a call from some car insurance place saying they needed to chat about a repair. They didn’t explain anything when they picked up, just knew my last name. When I tried to get more info, she got annoyed fast. I figured out the call was suspicious and just ended it and blocked the number straight away.

This number called me twice and I missed it both times. When I rang back, someone from a holiday company answered but they wouldn’t say the name of the agency. They tried to sell me some really cheap holiday deals, which seemed a bit dodgy to me. Not sure if it was legit, but I’m thinking it’s probably a scam.

I’d had this number pop up before 0151438 6657, and my phone flagged it as possibly dodgy, so I blocked it straight away. After looking it up on here, loads of folks were saying it’s linked to calls about supposed road traffic accidents they're trying to get you to admit to. Definitely seems like a classic scam to me.

I've been getting calls from these folks quite a few times, but I usually don’t pick up if I don’t recognise the number. They do go ahead and leave a message though, just a simple "hello" each time.

I just had a random call from someone who claimed to be working for a company, trying to pitch solar panels and all the money I could supposedly save. The weird thing is, he never mentioned which company he was with, so I cut the call pretty quickly.

warning about a big car crash fraud - please stay alert no matter what! these nasty con artists are just after one thing - draining your bank balance. you’ve got to be careful and smart since just blocking numbers won’t fix the problem. best to report it straight away to action fraud by calling 0300 123 2040 or visiting their site. let’s all do our bit to catch these crooks and bring them to justice. cheers!

Someone rang me saying I’d been in a car crash, and I was like, I’d be the first to know if that happened. Then they suggested maybe it was for Miss, not Mrs, or even a Mr. I told them they were talking complete nonsense and ended the call.
