Folks say they pretend to be from some kind of support service and try to ask about any accidents you’ve been in, probably just fishing for your details. Not trusting it at all.

Got a call from someone claiming I’d been in a car crash that wasn’t my fault. They kept asking when the accident happened. They say the PI licence ran out ages ago. These lot are proper nasty scammers only out to drain your bank account, especially now with all this corona madness going on! Don’t just sit there letin’ them get away with it - ring Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or check their site online for info. If we all chip in, we can stop these crooks, keep older and vulnerable folks safe, and make sure they get caught and punished.

I got a call yesterday from 0151 438 6652 and blocked it. Then today they rang again from 0151 438 6653. I rang back from my home phone and it was some story about car accident damage. These spam calls just won’t stop. Especially now with the covid19 situation, getting calls like this can really distress someone who's sick or lost a loved one recently. Honestly, these scammers are so heartless.
