I think they’re trying to gather details from anyone who’s been involved in a crash within the past couple years. I bet they ask for money straight away. Honestly, they’re no different from all those other dodgy callers who ring up out of the blue with no good reason. Today, I received a rather suspicious call from an individual claiming to be affiliated with "Road Accident Helpline." He began inquiring about any car accidents I might have experienced, insisting that I was eligible for some kind of compensation. The way he put it, if I just provided him with a few details, he could assist me in getting the payout. It was glaringly obvious this was a scam aimed at fishing for my personal information. My advice? Don’t hesitate to hang up on these con artists!

Some jokers rang up saying they were from t&e legal??? about a small car accident i was involved in. Thing is, they phoned my partner’s mobile, so if it was really them they'd have realised it should've been me, a woman, they were after. After that i just told the bloke to jog on and ended the call sharpish.
