I received a rather peculiar phone call from someone inquiring about an accident I never experienced. This individual seemed keen to verify whether I had indeed been part of a car incident that took place two years ago, which, mind you, was not at all my fault. He even went so far as to assure me that he could facilitate a delightful chat or some such nonsense. Clearly, it’s just a ploy to reel me in!

They say they're an insurance firm wanting to help with a compensation claim for an accident. I told them I'm not interested and blocked this number plus 5 other 0141 numbers, all pretending to be the same company. TPS is useless and the ICO doesn't do anything either. These calls are proper harassment and the ICO is just a frustrating waste of taxpayers' money given how little they actually do.

I received a call about a so-called claim, but I informed the caller they had the wrong individual. I requested that they take my number off their list, yet the chap was adamant and wouldn’t comply. When I asked to speak to a manager, he claimed he was one himself, which was rather dubious.

These accident scam calls are rly annoying. You should definitely report them to the police records. Just google 'action fraud', head to the 'police.uk' page, find the 'reporting' area and file it as phishing. You don’t need to sign up or anything. Honestly, it's the only real way to try and crack down on these scammers over time.

I received a rather dodgy phone call from someone claiming to be with a claims management firm. They insisted they had my details in their records, including my name and number, and even mentioned an accident that I'd never even been a part of! Quite the cheek, if you ask me.

got a call from some claims firm. they asked how I was doin and when I said I’d just been stuck in A&E for 13 hours they just went on with like “well since you’re there can we chat now” bit awkward really.
