I work for Slater & Gordon, the company behind the genuine Claims Direct, and I can tell you straight up that this number isn’t linked to us at all. If you get a call from them, it’s almost certainly a scam. We only get in touch with folks who’ve reached out to us first, whether that’s on the phone or online. These fraudsters are just pretending to be Claims Direct, probably trying to scam you out of money since they can’t do it through honest ways. Best thing to do is block the number, then get in touch with Slater & Gordon to let them know someone is faking their identity.

I’ve had this number ring me up a couple of times this week, saying they’re from Claims Direct and talking about some car crash I’m meant to have been in. I told them some nonsense about going straight to A&E because obviously, I must have some brain injury I didn’t notice, since I don’t even remember having an accident or a car in the first place. Unlike other firms, these lot just keep calling and won’t quit. I’ve had enough and blocked the number now.

I received a rather distressing phone call from this number regarding an accident that, quite frankly, never took place. The caller was very brusque and rather unsettling, leaving me in a state of tears. I strongly advise against picking up if you see this number come up; it’s simply not worth the trouble.

This morning, my phone rang from a number I didn’t recognise, but luckily a "POTENTIAL FRAUD" alert popped up on my screen, so I didn’t pick it up. I decided to look it up here to make sure it was a dodgy call, and it turned out to be a scam. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone who sounded like they were from an Indian call centre, probably from abroad. They claimed to be Claims Direct and asked for a name I didn’t recognise at all. I told them they must have the wrong number, but they insisted they had the right one, just a different name. Right away I figured it was a scam trying to fish for info. I told them to take my number off their list and hung up. Seriously, don’t get involved with these calls - they're definitely trying to scam you!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Claims Direct about a car crash I supposedly had back in May 2018. I tried to get some details, like the exact date, but he said he couldn't share that because of data protection. Asked which car was involved, no answer again. Then I asked what actually happened in the accident, but he dodged that too. When he asked if I remembered the crash, I said I did, especially since it was the one where I died. That seemed to freak him out enough to end the call pretty quick, lol.

Received a call on my mobile regarding an accident I supposedly had last year. To be honest, I haven't had any such thing happen! I inquired how they got hold of my number, and they claimed it was from some insurance database. Quite odd, seeing as I don’t own a car or have any insurance. I decided to end the call there!
