Another dodgy call from some foreign scammer, honestly you'd think if they wanted to sound believable they'd get someone who actually speaks proper English. Most likely another bloke from Pakistan trying to pull a fast one - what do they even do besides lies, cheats, steals and god knows what else? Absolute rubbish. If I ever got my hands on this scumbag, i'd make sure he paid for it real bad, no mercy at all. I can't stand these muppets one bit!

Funny thing, just got a call today about an accident they said I had years ago, but I never did. Told the guy I already had a couple calls last week about the same thing and that they’re totally wrong. Ended the call pretty quick.

Typical scam call with that fake foreign accent, honestly you’d think if they wanted to seem believable they’d use someone who actually speaks decent English. These car accident scams are so common it’s ridiculous. I’m betting it’s another bloke from Pakistan - seems like all they do is lie, cheat, steal and God forbid, harm kids. Absolutely disgusting people. If I ever got my hands on one of these creeps, I’d make sure they paid for it in the worst way possible. Hate these lowlifes more than anything!

These daft muppets rang me from that number. Trouble is, I’m based in Glasgow and there’s definitely no 739 local numbers in the 0141 area code! Also, the idea of someone from the Indian or Pakistani community here not having a proper Glaswegian accent is a bit far-fetched. Most of the IndoPak folks round here would probably speak like Rab C Nesbitt or Navid from Still Game! Best thing is to just ignore and hang up on these clowns.

Got a call but no message left. Then another spammer rang me back, but when I asked what their company did, they wouldn't say cos my number was hidden. So I blocked them straight away. They won't be bothering me anymore.

Someone called me saying they had a message from my insurance about an accident I’d supposedly been in. When I questioned them and asked how they got my number, the bloke said it was from the insurance firm! I told him to delete my info from their system and not to ring me again, but I've had two more calls after that. I think this might count as misuse under the telecommunications laws, but I’ve got to look it up properly.

The car crash scam is pretty well known now. They try to link phone numbers to people who might’ve been passengers in accidents, ’cause supposedly there’s compensation for that. When someone picks up and talks, they know it’s a live number, and if you say too much, they can trace your name and probably your address. Then they make a bogus claim pretending to be you and get the money easily. From what I found, it’s usually a small amount so they don’t need to do much verification. I got calls like this a few years back, so I did a bit of digging and sure enough, it’s them again. Best to just ignore and let it ring off! Don’t pick up!

So I got a call yesterday from a number starting with 0131, saying something about an accident from the last couple of years. I ended up speaking to a supervisor and told him straight up that it’s illegal and a total scam trying to get me to file a claim for something that never even happened. Definitely dodgy!

I keep getting calls from these numbers 01417390904, 01414069557, and 01416115162 about some accident I never had. I answered a couple of times and the caller said they were from Claims Direct. When I told him I wasn’t Mr Jones, the guy, sounded like he had an Indian accent, just went on about the claim as if I was. A few times I just hung up and let him keep talking to himself till he shut up. He wouldn’t say where he got my number but swore he'd remove it if he actually had it right. This has happened about four times since January now. I've blocked all those numbers but they keep switching Glasgow numbers. Might give them a ring back one day, maybe.
