I picked up, but there was this awkward silence for a bit, then out of nowhere an automated voice just said "goodbye" and hung up right after. I repeated, “Who is this again?” They just said, “Good afternoon, Mrs...” and then I asked once more, “Who’s on the line?” There was a long silence, and I just hung up.10 yearsI got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT. She asked for me by name, but I knew something was off since BT only ever use 08 numbers for official calls and don’t say they’re engineers. I told her straight up, “You’re not from BT,” and she went from polite to downright rude, calling me cheeky and then started using swears!
