Got a call bright and early at 8.05am, but my answerphone is pretty lengthy. I make sure to say something like "I'm signed up with the TPS and this call will be reported." Plus, I let them know I won’t pick up if the number is international, out of area or withheld. Everyone I know, family and mates included, are aware to hang on and speak after the beep - if I’m around, I’ll respond. Even the hospital, which always has a hidden number, leaves a message first. Seems like the longer the answerphone spiel, the faster they hang up! I still report every single call to the TPS though.

I’ve been having a right malarkey with my internet connection. If they bother me again, I might just request they belt out a Christmas carol before we dive into the issue!

Just like others have mentioned, I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, stating that our internet was under threat of hacking and urging us to turn off our router after dark! The voice had a distinctly mechanical tone, quite reminiscent of an automated script, and it was clearly getting frustrated with my disinterest. Upon mentioning that we actually use another provider and expressing my doubts about his legitimacy, I think I caught him muttering some choice words in another language before he abruptly hung up.

I received a call this morning at 09:12 from someone who introduced themselves as Rishi Rasha or something along those lines. They provided the same callback number as the one displayed. The narrative was identical to previous encounters. Interestingly, there was no background chatter typical of a call centre.

Today I got a call from this number saying they were from BT Broadband. I told them I don’t have BT broadband, and they kind of just stuttered and didn’t really have a reply. I ended up just hanging up on them.

I had a rather familiar encounter myself: a chap with a distinctly ‘Indian’ accent, presumably calling from an overcrowded call centre, rang me up claiming that my internet had been compromised by some foreign entity. Rather than engage, I decided to just hang up and allowed him to ramble on into the void. When I glanced back a short while later, it seemed he had taken the hint and ended the call.

Got a call from someone who sounded like they were in a hectic call centre, with a strong Indian accent. They told me my internet was being hacked from another country. I just ignored it and let them blabber on for a bit, then when I glanced back they’d already ended the call.

Received a rather dodgy call earlier from someone posing as a tech representative from BT, claiming that my internet was under siege by some foreign hackers. Now, I swear I've heard that voice before during a similar con just last week. I decided to play along for a moment and informed her that my side of the conversation was being recorded for the police- to which she quickly replied that the call was actually under surveillance for their training purposes. Quite the cheeky ruse, if you ask me! Managed to shut it down straightaway.

Just had a call on my landline today, Monday 19th December 2016. I said hello and after around half a minute, the line went dead with no one saying a word. I noticed I've had calls before on Friday and Saturday from almost the same number, only the last three digits vary. Those came in around 9.20am and 9.42am, so 2.40pm is a bit of a different time. Honestly, I'm really tired of these calls, especially since I'm not feeling great and it’s making things worse. Wish they’d just quit it.

I received a call purporting to be from TalkTalk, and when I requested that they drop me an email regarding the alleged issue with my router, the chap on the other end told me to shove off! Quite the cheek, isn't it?

I received a dodgy phone call from someone claiming to be from BT, asking me to switch on my computer so they could “diagnose” my internet issues. Little did they know, I’m with another provider entirely! When I pushed back and questioned their legitimacy, they abruptly hung up. Quite the cheek, really!

Please include 020 3287 2062 on your list. I recently received a call from a chap named John Williams, who asserted he was from the BT Internet technical team. He was spouting off that my internet was allegedly experiencing issues and suggested it might have been compromised. When I pressed him for a contact number to confirm his credentials, he supplied me with 020 3287 2062 and instructed me to ask for him directly. The whole thing felt like a big call centre jam, and I could hear quite a few Indian accents in the background. The moment I expressed my scepticism, he promptly ended the call. I also made it clear to “John” that I was doubtful about whether that was even his true name.

I just had a ring from someone saying he was John Williams from BT internet tech support, telling me my connection was full of errors and getting hacked. I asked for a callback number to check if it was legit, and he gave me the 020 3287 2062 to call and ask for him. Seemed like a big call centre, but I could hear loads of Indian accents chatting away in the background. When I said I wasn’t convinced, he hung up straight away. I also told this “John” that I wasn’t buying that was his real name.

I had a rather peculiar phone call from this number earlier today, claiming that someone abroad was attempting to breach my system. I mentioned I was about to head out, and she said she'd give me another ring on Wednesday! I’m rather relieved to have stumbled upon this website.

I had a rather dodgy phone call earlier today from someone claiming that my IP address had been breached and was apparently being accessed from Mountain View, California. When I pressed him on the matter, he tossed out his BT engineer ID (DE1097) as if that validated his story. However, when I mentioned I was going to ring up BT to double-check his claims, he became quite insistent that I shouldn’t waste my time and tried to push me into following his directions. It was obvious this was nothing but a scam.

Watch out, this is a total scam! They claim to be from TalkTalk but really want to get into your router so they can hack your PC. Don't fall for it, stay clear!

I received a call from an overseas call centre where a lady claimed to be Maria from some tech support. I ended the conversation promptly since we don’t even use that service provider.
