This number, 01391735824, has rung my house three times today but I wasn’t around to pick up. It’s the second time this week I’ve had calls like this, previous ones came from 02081141202. The last time they called, I ended up in a massive row with the old man, he’s 85, and I just gave up and blocked the number. Proper fed up with these scam callers now.

This morning, I got a call from an Asian woman who asked for me by name. When I asked what she wanted, she started talking nonsense about my computer. Then, after I got back from work this evening, I received another call from 01414110011 with the exact same rubbish. I'm signed up with the TPS, so what's the point? Both calls were really rude and pushy.

Got hit with loads of calls from "BT" about internet security. When I pressed them on their location, they said London. I joked about the London weather, but they quickly shot down the chat with "I'm not here to talk about weather." So I switched it up and asked if they reckon in Karma. They seemed confused, so I explained about bad actions leading to coming back as a cockroach or something. After that, they just ended the call. Made me chuckle. :)

Got about three calls from this number earlier today. I've pretty much stopped picking up my landline 'cause of all these annoying calls. Just as I was writing this, some other random caller rang me too.

Today at about 9.42am, my home phone started ringing. I answered with a quick hello, but there was a lot of static noise, which made me think it might be a dodgy call. I told whoever it was that I suspected it was a scam and that I’d jot down the number. As soon as I said that, the call just cut off. I then dialled 1471 to see the missed number, and later searched online to check it out on Who Called Me.

This morning at about 7:54, I got a call from someone who said his name was Jeremy and he was with BT. He told me there was an issue with my internet service. I told him to send me all the info by email and then ended the call.

Some bloke called Albert from VM rang me saying my PC was riddled with viruses or some rubbish like that. I asked where he was ringing from, and he said Manchester. I told him I've had calls from Asian Dan, Asian Jim and Asian Dave too, so it seems like they’re all trying to sort me out! Then I asked for his phone number, and he began saying '161'. When I pointed out that’s a Manchester area code, he just blurted "Oh my God" and cut off. Saying you run Linux instead of Windows also seems to freak them out!

Got a call from 01391735824. The bloke said he was from BT tech support and told me my internet had been hacked or something. Kept calling me “madam,” which was kinda irritating. When I wasn’t ready to give out my BT ID, he got a bit rude and threatened to cut off my internet. Didn’t share any details with him in the end. Strange call!

I received a rather dubious call supposedly from the technical support of BT. The person on the line claimed my broadband connection was riddled with issues and even mentioned some mysterious activity occurring at midnight from various locations! Naturally, I didn’t waste any time and ended the conversation by activating my call-blocker. It’s obvious this is nothing more than a scam.

So this guy called saying he was with Virgin Media, right? I told him I actually spoke with Virgin Media just this Monday. Honestly, I'm sick of these calls, they're happening pretty much every day now! Not impressed at all.

Got a call this afternoon around 1.30pm. They claimed our internet was being used somewhere between midnight and 4 in the morning. Funny thing is, the caller ended the call as soon as she heard my husband mention it wasn’t a BT number.

I received a phone call from a chap named 'Daniel' claiming to be from 'BT', discussing my internet setup. I suspected something was off, so I reached out to BT directly, only to find out it was indeed a scam. They assured me that they hadn’t made any calls and that the number used wasn’t theirs. BT has now committed to blocking similar calls in the future on my line. I'm also planning to report this incident to Action Fraud to ensure they're aware.

Got a call earlier today from someone saying my computer was full of viruses. When I asked for their name, they just said they were from Microsoft. My iPhone showed the number was coming up as "Boston," but in England. Bit fishy if you ask me!

This person calling sounded Asian and claimed they worked for BT, telling me my broadband would be disconnected soon. But when I asked for more details, he just kept saying his number started with 020 and then dropped the call before saying anything else.

Got a call from someone saying they were Daniel at BT, claiming there was a problem with my internet. Turns out it was a scam. I checked with BT and they said they hadn’t made any calls and the number wasn’t theirs. BT assured me they’re working to block these calls. I’m definitely going to report it to Action Fraud as well.

I got two calls this morning from someone claiming to be with BT, saying my internet had been hacked and they could help me fix it. They told me to get on the internet so they could guide me through sorting it out. I asked how anyone could be hacking if no one was using the internet at the time of the call. Then they said they'd transfer me to their manager but I just ended the call. The voice sounded foreign, too!

Got a call from 01391735824, said they were BT and started with ‘your broadband will be cut off due to some technical issue’. When I spoke more, it was clear they’re actually working for some company tied to Microsoft tech support. Honestly, whoever these people are should really find something better to do and stop bothering decent folks.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT saying my internet would be cut off if I didn’t pay up. The voice sounded Asian, and it all felt pretty dodgy. Didn’t really buy the story, seemed like a scam to me. Just thought I’d warn others to watch out for this kind of thing.

I've had a similar experience with these scammers in the past. They posed as a head engineer from BT, trying to coax out information that only the genuine BT would possess. What was particularly unsettling was their knowledge of certain accounts of mine. They even managed to change my passwords! Thankfully, I flagged it to BT who confirmed they were indeed hackers. Just a heads-up to everyone to stay vigilant!

Got a call from a bloke who sounded like he had a bit of an accent, said he was with Virgin Media and there was some big malware issue messing up my internet. I told him I'd just have a quick look on Virgin Media's official site and only call back if it seemed legit. Then he went quiet and suddenly hung up. Honestly, best to just block this number!

I've received several calls from individuals purporting to be from BT's technical support, all claiming that my network router or server has been compromised. It feels rather suspicious to me, and I'm starting to wonder whether this might be some sort of scam. Has anyone else encountered such calls?

Got a call from this number yesterday claiming they were from BT about my broadband. I told them I didn’t believe them and just ended the call. Later, I rang BT myself and they confirmed it’s a scam - they’re trying to get into your computer to plant malware and steal passwords. Same number called me again today but I didn’t bother answering.
