Got a call on 01/02/2021 from 0131 204 8716, a guy with a clear English accent talking about a car crash. I didn’t bother with him and just blocked the number. Then the next day, 0131 204 8717 rang me - it was the same bloke with the same story. I told him to delete my info, and he just cut me off. Bit strange if you ask me.

Got a call from one of those scams claiming I’d been in an accident. I blocked the number but it didn’t help, they keep ringing from loads of different lines. They all start with 0131-204. Seriously, when will the Government step up and deal with these fraud attempts? It’s getting ridiculous.

No sound at all, they just dropped the call. Got calls earlier too about my NI being hacked, came from an O2 number just a few mins before this one, so I reckon they’re connected. This has been happening for weeks now, seriously it’s ridiculous! Definitely block and report these numbers straight away, it’s getting way out of control!

I got a call from 0131 204 8714, based in Edinburgh, Scotland, supposedly from a firm called Road Assist regarding some no fault crash I apparently was involved in. The person sounded really polite and spoke with an English accent, which wasn’t what I expected. Still, it felt dodgy and definitely seemed like a scam!

Had a load of dodgy calls from people with thick foreign accents claiming to be from O So Assist. Before that, it was the UK Claims Department, then Road Traffic Assistance, and at one point they even pretended to be the National Research Society. These lot are proper scammers. I’ve already reported the number to Action Fraud and the FCA. Honestly, if I had the chance, I’d definitely pay them a little visit myself to sort them out.
