The people on the other end didn’t speak English very well, and honestly, I can’t imagine anyone actually falling for it.

I told him I don’t even use Windows and ended the call quick. The second call just dropped on me. Also, those rude remarks about ‘Henry’ on 0131 406 2156 aren’t on - no need for that kind of language. Let’s not forget, scams from the UK are plenty too, if anyone’s paying attention.

So this bloke rings up saying he’s running some kinda system to block annoying calls. Sounded like it was from one of those call centres in India or somewhere. Even after I told them (not once, but loads of times) to leave me alone, they kept hassling me. I wasn’t very polite either, dropped a few swear words. It’s definitely a scam trying to nab your bank or credit card info. Best thing is just to tell ’em to bugger off and block the number.

Got a call from 01312048709 - some guy claimed he was calling to help me stop nuisance calls for ‘Mel’. His voice sounded foreign but his name was super English. He just assumed I pay my phone bill by direct debit and wanted me to give him those details, which was off right away.
