Got a call about some deal on an iPhone contract, they said we need to pay £30 upfront then £33 each month for 2 years. They mentioned no interest on the phone, and you can pick any provider like Vodafone, EE or Lyca Mobile. It sounded like a bargain since the phone’s supposed to be worth £1200 but they sell it for £800 with the plan included. Seemed fishy especially since they mostly go after foreigners, mostly Asian people. Watch out! I realised something was off when the team asked me for my OTP while paying, that’s when I knew it was dodgy.
