The woman who called me spoke with a heavy Indian accent and I couldn’t quite catch where she said she was calling from. When I asked her to repeat it, the connection suddenly got all choppy. It was a chap with a pronounced Indian accent, and he spoke in such an exaggeratedly slow manner, as if he were dragging himself through treacle. He claimed to be calling from Currys Mobile. The whole thing felt rather odd, so I decided to end the conversation posthaste.
