01283 755004 tried to ring me. Like I always do with numbers I dont know, I didnt answer. If it was urgent they would’ve left a message but no voicemail was left, which isnt surprising. I looked up the number afterwards like I always do and am really pleased I didnt bother answering.

It was some kind of warranty con. They posted me a card with a phone number to ring. I called and at first I figured it was genuine and gave them my VIN, but then they asked for the last 13 digits of my credit card, which seemed dodgy.

Didn’t pick up coz there’s loads of scammers involved, all connected to those OfferX Survey scams sayin you get free stuff after finishing the survey. I’m supposedly owed 10 E-bikes, 7 E-scooters, 6 £500 Amazon vouchers, hundreds of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Argos, Lidl, Aldi, and M&S £150 gift cards. Also 10 Xboxes, 10 PlayStation 5s, hundreds of iPhones and Samsung Flip phones, laptops - none of it ever turns up. Just scammers tryin to get you to switch broadband I don’t even use, or gas and electricity providers, Sky, Virgin, and stuff like that. I don’t even get TV signal!

I picked up the phone only to overhear a couple of chaps chatting away in the background. Clearly, they weren't aware that the auto-dialler had connected me.
