Just received a rather uncanny automated call from Amazon, claiming that a payment had been deducted from my bank account!

Somebody from 01285864670 kept calling me 7 times yesterday, started around 8:30 this morning too. Don't know who it is.

Just got a call from number 0128 1402585.

My phone buzzed but I didn't answer, and they never left a voicemail. Blocked the number straight away. Easy enough.

Keep getting calls from 01283620146, like loads each week. This number called me 3 times just today! Seems like a scam to me. They ring me about 10 to 12 times every week. I just ignore it all now.

Received a rather dodgy automated call today prompting me to confirm a Visa transaction with Western Union by pressing 1. Needless to say, I didn't oblige.

I received a rather odd call stating that £### had been moved from my bank. The number appears to be 0128###, but it seems I wasn't able to adjust it for the entry, as it only displays 0128.

When I picked up the phone, there was nothing but silence on the other end.

I received a call informing me that a transaction for £### had been processed on my card, and they asked me to press a button to confirm it.

I recently attempted to give 0128### a ring. I made sure to do a bit of research prior, and to my astonishment, there was no response whatsoever. It’s amusing, as I found out it’s supposedly linked to a PDSA vet practice. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of dialling that number!

I've been receiving numerous notifications from Talk Talk stating that my internet service is about to be terminated.

In the past hour, I've received a total of five calls purporting to be from TalkTalk, each one from a different number beginning with 0128. After scanning through earlier remarks, it appears they have a plethora of different contact numbers. I've decided to activate my answering machine, but they never bother to leave a message. This morning I received an astonishing number of calls, all originating from an 0128 number, claiming to be BT and warning me that my internet would be cut off imminently. Since I chose not to pick up any of them, I can only surmise they were tied to Talk Talk Broadband-after all, I did engage with that particular number roughly three weeks back. Fast forward to today, the ###th of May, and I had the first of these persistent calls come in at ###.###, with the barrage continuing until just past noon. As of now, that makes eight calls in total, seven of which bore the 0###8 code, and one with ###. Honestly, I wish they'd just leave me alone!

I've been getting nonstop calls every day from loads of different 0128 numbers too. They're all different every time. Today has been the worst with 9 calls just between 10.23 and 11.30. None matched each other or any numbers I've seen in other posts. No idea how to block these, but something really needs to be done to put a stop to this.

I’ve had the same number ring me nine times today! Each time, it's the exact same automated message in an American accent claiming to be from TalkTalk, threatening to disconnect my internet - obviously a load of rubbish! They’re ringing from a series of numbers starting with the same 0128 code. It’s been non-stop since this morning until just after 4 pm. Each of those numbers has that 0128 prefix: ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, and then 88242. Quite the nuisance, isn't it?

Totally a scam, the numbers they ring from include 01287215179, 01284598630, 01280883995, 01280903757, 01284838181, 01283572057 and maybe 012993788021 too. I’ve told Talktalk so they can block them on their network. Somebody’s put these numbers under these scammers’ names and OFCOM are aware, but like usual, they don’t wanna do anything about it.

Got 14 calls from numbers pretty much like 0128 in just 4 hours, all just slight differences each time.

I've been inundated with calls featuring this prefix lately, and I simply choose not to pick them up. If I were to block the whole 0128 range, it would unfortunately also lead to missing calls from areas like Cirencester (you know, those 0128### numbers) along with a number of others. Then I found this site and saw loads of other folks are dealin with the same thing. I just ignore the calls but others might pick up since some local area here also uses the 0128 code, so it could fool a few people.

Apparently, they’re claiming to be from Talk Talk and babbling on about someone messing with our internet - what a load of nonsense! I've made sure to notify Talk Talk that these con artists are misrepresenting them, and they ought to warn their customers about this nonsense!

Hello everyone! I’ve been bombarded with calls today, Wednesday the ### of March, with the same number ringing through five times: 0128###, 01282###4803, 0128###, 0128###, and yet again 0128###. Curiously enough, there’s been no one on the other end to answer. 🤔

The digits all seem to differ apart from those first few and they pretend to be local UK codes, yet if I attempt to ring them back, I only get a message saying the number is unrecognised. Got a call from 01280882758, the person said they were with BT and that my internet was going to be cut off. Then they just hung up. Called BT myself and they said it was a scam.

I just let it ring out, didn’t pick up.
