Got a call from this number 00131###, some automated voice claiming to be from the fraud department. They kept mentioning a bank but went on so fast it was hard to catch everything. Said there were two pending transactions, one for £### and another for £###. Then it asked to press 1 for customer support or 2 to approve the payments. Just as I was about to respond, the call got cut off.

Got a ring from this number the other day, and the bloke on the line had a really thick Asian accent. I played along like I didn’t know what was going on, just humoured him since I’ve dealt with these types before. He kept saying things like “Ma’am,” and claimed he was calling from Microsoft. Apparently, someone was mucking about on my computer and I needed to switch it on straight away! I told him no way. Then he asked why I wasn’t following his instructions or checking my notifications. I said I was tied up with a copper who was here sorting out a separate issue. He finally gave up and hung up but not before threatening to ring me every day at 6am. Ha! That’s no problem, I’m usually up by 5 anyway and next time I’ll have my whistle at the ready!

For the last couple of days, I've been getting calls from 00131### & 00131### non stop.

I don’t really know what’s going on but I get calls from them about three times a day, saying they’ve taken £359 from my bank, which they haven’t obviously. I just end up hanging up. My elderly mum isn’t doing too great, and sometimes I just can’t bring myself to pick up, but then I worry it might be something serious about her. This really isn’t on, they even call my mobile! Please someone do something about these pests.

Every day I get calls from phone numbers starting with 00131, it's driving me bonkers! They say they're Amazon but it's clear they're just trying to scam me. I block each one, but they never stop - always ringing from a different 00131 number. So frustrating!

Just got charged for an annual subscription on Amazon Prime apparently. This has to be a total rip-off, what a scam!

I haven't answered this number, but I've received texts on my voicemail claiming to be from Amazon. I'm not a customer of theirs. Over the past half year, I reckon I've had about 10 calls from them. Please be wary and don't get caught out by this scam. I can't share much now, but I've saved a few of their calls. I’ll update if they ring again, which I’m pretty sure they will.

So I called back 0013127012136 and the moment I said a word, the person just hung up. If scammers are gonna bother with me, they might as well talk instead of being so quick to drop the call!

Got calls from 0013124982113 at 2:03pm and 0013128077295 at 1:27pm today. They were trying that Amazon Prime scam again. You really need to remember to switch off the “Last number blocking” setting, saves a lot of hassle!

The moment I pick up, some robot starts blabbering about my "account". I just hang up since I haven’t even been with them for yonks - they once took money for a Prime delivery thing I never agreed to! It’s obvious they swap phone details about too. When these lot ring to say my computer’s got issues, I usually tell them it’s funny because I dumped that thing ages back (which is a fib, obviously).

This number has been ringing me every day recently. Whenever I try to block it, it asks if I want to “replace with the same number.” Then they just tweak a few digits and call again. The first time I picked up, it was someone pretending to be from Amazon, saying I bought something worth £###n, trying to get me to either claim a refund or something along those lines. They even knew my name. Right away, I called Amazon to let them know what was going on.

It’s crazy how these idiots handing out phone numbers have no clue who ends up with them. These scammers keep getting a free pass, and the moment the hassle lands on them, they'd probably even sell out their own family to stop it. Ridiculous!

I answered a call and heard a taped message claiming to be from Amazon. I hung up straight away, but it turns out it was a scam. Every time I answered, I got charged ###p. This US number should be blocked; it’s definitely a scam. I’ve ended up paying more than once just for picking up the phone. The number 00131### is no good, please block it quick!

The first person who called me had an Indian accent, I think. Then the second one was a posh English woman. She said thanks for signing up to Amazon Prime, which I never did. The call was all about Amazon Prime, and she mentioned some monthly fee of £###. I'm not even subscribed to Amazon Prime!
