I got a call from 01290324357 today but I didn’t pick up. No voicemail or anything left either.

Got a call from 01297724250 on 22/10/22 around 9.30am. It was an automated voice telling me there were two suspicious charges on my card, one about £300 and another over £1000. It said to press 1 if I wanted to cancel the payments or 2 if I wanted to speak with someone. I didn’t press anything and just hung up.

01293038514 - I didn’t pick up straight away but after around six rings I answered, said nothing, and waited. Then the call just ended suddenly from their side. Tried calling back but it wouldn’t connect.

01291893377 called me saying my Amazon Prime subscription was about to renew and they’d take money from my bank. Then they told me to press 1 to stop the charge from going through. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

The number starts with 0129 but the last digits change. Got a call from scammers with a pre recorded message saying my amazon prime had been compromised and they were going to take £99 out of my bank soon, asked me to press 1. Don’t press 1 if you get these calls, it’ll likely end up costing you a lot. I’ve checked with my bank and reported it, they’re monitoring my account and told me to stay alert too.

Received a call from this number at 10:18 GMT today, claiming to represent a law firm based in Manchester. It has all the hallmarks of a classic scam, if you ask me... Quite suspicious, to say the least!
