This number 01270419486 called my elderly mum who's in her 80s - lucky I picked it up cos she gets mixed up quite easily. I wanted to ring back but couldn’t get through at all. Definitely not legit, just a SCAM!!!

I keep getting pestered by this number. I've already barred it on my mobile, yet somehow they've managed to get hold of my home number too. It appears to originate from the 0127 area code, and they frequently use various digits, typically wrapping up with 1447 or 2144. I've reported it as a nuisance call, suspecting it’s part of a scam operation. It’s quite alarming, really, as plenty of my friends over the age of 60 have experienced similar calls from this area code, whether it be on their mobiles or their landlines. It feels like they're clearly aiming at those most at risk!

Lately, I've been inundated with numerous calls featuring the 0127 prefix. The folks on the other end keep insisting they're linked to energy-related matters. I've repeatedly told them to vanish, but it appears they're working through a range of numbers all beginning with 0127. Just as I manage to block one, another pops up using that same series. It’s high time someone put an end to this nonsense!

Not long ago, I got a phone call from a lady with a foreign accent. She claimed she was calling concerning my kitchen boiler. Naturally, I was puzzled as to why she had picked my number, and just like that, she abruptly hung up. It's clearly a scam call. The funny thing is, I don’t even have a boiler in my kitchen! It does make you curious about how that chat might have unfolded, doesn’t it?

Got a call from 01273655184 about some washing machine warranty, they said they’d send paperwork so I asked for their number which they gave me. They already had my postcode and address which seemed off to me. Then they asked for my sort code to 'verify' something - I dunno what for! No way I’m giving that out, clearly a scam. Told them I’d pass it to a colleague, not falling for it!

I said I didn’t get it, so please send another. I should’ve asked which company it was, but I was a bit taken aback. For anyone else, if you get a call like this, make sure to ask exactly who they are. Of course, next thing they wanted was my bank info!

I've received a total of four phone calls today from various numbers, including one starting with 0127. Each time, the caller claimed to be from Amazon, insisting they were about to renew my Prime subscription. The thing is, I don’t have any kind of subscription with them! I just hang up every time, but it’s rather infuriating. While it's easy to block these nuisance callers on my mobile, I find myself powerless to do the same on my landline. Quite tiresome, isn't it?

I'm absolutely exasperated by this number constantly pestering us. Can't the regulators sort this out? Honestly, it feels like nothing more than a jarring nuisance call. I received a call from 01275827379, but oddly, there was silence on the line. When I tried to call back, the line was completely dead. Strangely enough, just ten minutes prior, I had also missed a call from 01295386203; it rang for a moment before cutting off. When I returned that call, I was directed to www.nta.co.uk, which seems to be peddling something related to phones. Being 75 years old, I was dozing off, all the while waiting for an important call regarding my husband's cancer treatment.

I received a couple of calls from this number earlier today. It was the only one that popped up when I dialled 1471. The line was filled with background chatter, and then I heard someone say, “Hello? Is anyone there?” before the call disconnected. Just a minute or so later, they rang again, but all I heard was more of that background hubbub. Quite peculiar, really!
