I got two calls from this number on my home phone but every time I answered, all I got was a dead dial tone. When I tried calling it back, some weird scrambled message played so I just put the phone down. Later, my brother called me on my mobile from Ireland and said he’d tried ringing my landline twice, but somehow this number was blocking him or something. Really strange situation.

My 82 year old mum got a call from this number about some washing machine insurance renewal. I managed to get there just as she was finishing the call. The guy on the other end suddenly got quite rude and started shouting at me when I told him I'd report them if they kept calling her. He clearly didn't like that, so I just ended the call.

Got a call not long ago, felt pretty real since they knew stuff about the appliances I supposedly had insured. They spoke really quickly and asked for my credit card info. Gave them some random last four digits instead, obviously wrong. Then they put me through to someone with a British accent who kept pushing, but when I told him to send the renewal info through the post or email instead, he just ended the call. This kind of stuff is seriously risky and could easily trap people who aren't careful.

Then they asked when I made my last payment, but when I asked for details, they refused to give me any. I kept stalling on the phone, asking loads more questions for about 10 minutes. So I got a call from someone claiming to be from my insurance for the fridge and washing machine, said the company was called Premium - didn’t sound right at all. They only knew my name and where I live, no other legit details. I told the lady I was just stalling to stop her cheating someone else, but she was super polite the whole time. Crazy thing is, she just stuck with her script no matter what!

I asked them to send me all the paperwork, then they quickly ended the call. Sometimes it’s amusing messing with these folks. I’m guessing they were fishing for banking info. Total SCAM, be careful out there!

I got a call about renewing some kind of appliance protection. The person said it was for my washer, dryer and fridge. After he checked my name and where I live, I asked him what brand my fridge was.
