He said he’d remove me from his calling list, which was polite enough, but still, it was pretty annoying.

Got a call from a guy who spoke with an Asian accent, called me out by my full name and even mentioned my exact address. He said he was from "Domestic Legal & General," which kinda sounded like my real insurance provider. Told me that my washing machine insurance had run out and that I could sort out a renewal right then and there on the phone. Thing is, I knew my washer cover was still active, so I just ended the call and blocked the number. I’m not falling for it, but I reckon someone less cautious might end up paying for something that’s not legit.

Got a call from a guy with an accent, claiming to speak about renewing my warranty stuff. When I asked what exactly, he mentioned something about a 'household warranty'. When we asked what our current payments were, the guy gave us a totally wrong number. Then, when I asked if that was monthly or yearly, he just suddenly ended the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
