So I got a call from 01251618292, this bloke saying he was Steve from the Technical Department, talking about my internet. I told him I was just about to head out and couldn’t chat, asked what it was about but he didn’t reply. Then I said I’d be out all day and to give me a ring later, but this idiot asks if he can call me back in five minutes! Then he just hung up on me. Honestly, quite amusing really.

Got a call from 01251618292 the other day. Some bloke called Steve claimed he was with the Technical Department about my internet. I said I was just about to head out and asked what it was about. Nothing, just silence. Told him I’d be out all day and to call back later. Then he asks if he should ring me in 5 minutes or something like that! Ended with him abruptly hanging up. Quite a funny experience, to be honest.

Just got a call from 01251649910 claiming to be my bank, but they never said which one. They told me there was a £600 withdrawal from abroad on my account. Total scam, don't trust it!

Got a call from 01251 800867, an automated voice telling me my BT contract was getting cancelled because of fraud. They asked me to press 1 if I wanted to fix it. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

I just got a call from 01251 434648 with an automated voice claiming they'd charged me £39.99 for Amazon Prime. Totally a scam, you’d never get calls like this from Amazon. Definitely ignore it!

Just got calls from 0125 1166514 and 012043939212, didn't pick up but they left a voicemail claiming £99 was taken from my account and asked me to press 1 to fix it. Clearly a scam. These annoying calls keep coming non-stop, sometimes three in a row every single day. Really fed up with it all.

Got a call from 01251 810711, sounded like those typical Amazon Prime scams. I used to have Prime before but I definitely don’t now. It’s frustrating that these numbers keep popping up and causing trouble for so many folks who get caught out. You’d think GCHQ or the phone companies or even the government could just block these scammers for good - why aren’t they doing anything? It's just sad how many people fall for this nonsense.

Just got a call from 01251 627292 claiming to be Amazon, saying they were going to take £79.99 from my bank. They asked me to press 1 to cancel it but I knew it was dodgy so I hung up straight away. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Scammer called from 01251 582863 claiming to be BT. First thing I heard was a recorded message warning that my internet and landline were going to be disconnected due to some ‘suspicious activity’. Then a person came on saying only the internet would be cut off, not the phone line. When I asked how I could be sure it was really BT, he said he had my ‘licence number’ to prove it. Since BT never use licences, I quickly hung up. I only just got a proper bill from BT, so I guess this scammer must have got my details from that somehow.

I've been getting calls loads lately from someone saying my internet's about to get disconnected. They keep telling me to hit 1 to stop it, like it’s urgent. Sometimes the number shows up, other times it’s blocked, but I’m pretty sure it’s the same dodgy scammer every time. It’s been happening around four times a day for nearly a week now. Total nuisance!

Got a call from 01251 564542, some guy claiming to be from Amazon, sounded like he was Indian. It was clearly a scam, but since they never managed to take money from my elderly parents, Amazon, BT, and even Action Fraud didn’t seem bothered at all. Quite frustrating how they only care if actual cash is lost.

I got a call from 01251 856936 telling me my internet might get disconnected due to some “illegal” stuff going down. They told me to press 1 to sort it out but I just hung up straight away.

A person rang claiming to be from Sky, saying they were there to sort out my internet issues. The odd thing is, we did have some problems a little while ago. I told them I'd get in touch with Sky myself if it acted up again. But they insisted they could fix it straight away or call me back later. I refused, and then they threatened to cut off my connection. I told them to go ahead since it wasn't a bother. Sure enough, they ended the call. The number they used to contact me was 01251 365 900.

So ive found out that 01251 isnt actually linked to any place here in the UK, but when you take off the zero and just look at 1251, it shows up as Jhajjar, which is a district in india with a kinda odd name. So its pretty clear that if you get a call from 01251, its probably a dodgy call trying to scam you, and its better to just ignore it.

So, this number 01251227525 called me earlier, but it wasn’t one I knew. I didn’t pick up and just let it ring through to my voicemail. Later on, I looked it up on Google and found out that the code 01251 isn’t assigned to any real place. Sounds like it’s probably just another scam trying its luck.

Got a call from 01251350209 claiming to be from BT, but my bills are fully paid through Sky. She started threatening to cut off my internet! This has happened loads of times before, always from different numbers. When I asked her to send something in writing to prove it was legit, she just ended the call straight away!

I picked up but no one spoke. When I looked up the number, it seemed pretty dodgy. Earlier today, I also got a ring from 02857 311360, which sounded like it was from somewhere in the Netherlands, I reckon. Neither of these are in my contacts, so I’m guessing some dodgy lot are trying their luck. Like a mate once told me: "Stay sharp, Britain needs watches."

Someone called saying they needed to check my internet speed and then asked if they could get into my computer. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call from 01251647247 saying they were doing maintenance on my phone line and asked if my internet was okay. I told them it was fine, no issues at all. Then the caller asked me to enter some letters into a little box at the top of the screen that said 'run'. Something felt off, so I closed the window right away - sounded dodgy to me. After that, I dialled 1471 to check the number and yep, it matched. The same number kept ringing me afterwards but I just let it go to voicemail and kept my phone off. My internet's working perfectly fine, but if I had followed their instructions, I reckon I’d have ended up with a problem for sure!

This number has rung me heaps of times saying they're from TalkTalk, warning that someone's trying to hack into my internet. They tell me to check my router lights and ask how many are blinking. I told them none, as I actually cancelled TalkTalk last month because their service was rubbish. Right after that, they just cut the call.

I got a call from 01251 913432 today, but when I tried ringing back, it came up saying the number doesn’t exist. Sounds like one of those dodgy calls from some scammer abroad who’s trying to avoid the rules and just wasting people’s time. The 01525 code is supposed to be Fleet in Hampshire, but I highly doubt the call really came from there.
