Total scam! They ring from different numbers, claiming you owe strange amounts like £300 or £1100, then try to trick you into sharing personal info. Their real aim is to hack into your computer and bank accounts. Seriously, just ignore and don’t answer if you get calls like this!

I got a call from 01265395179 saying they were from Homecare and even had some bits of my insurance info. They asked me to pay £189.99, but I told them I’d verify if they were legit first. Homecare confirmed later that the call was most likely a scam.

When I told them I wasn’t a Sky customer, they just hung up. Yesterday, I had another call from yet another number, also pretending to be from Sky. I keep blocking these numbers but they just keep coming from new ones. It’s really annoying and feels like harassment.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent around 1 in the afternoon today. Right from the start, he sounded totally unprofessional. When I asked his name, he said it was Dave. Things got really tense quickly, and I was stunned when he went and called me a mother f###er twice! He kept ringing me nonstop and even said he’d cut off my broadband. In the end, I just gave up and unplugged my landline. The number he was calling from was 01265 267939.

July 3rd, 2020 Today, I got a call from 01265 116535, with someone claiming my Amazon account had been hacked. The woman on the phone spoke very little English, sounded like she might be from India or Pakistan, and was struggling to keep the chat going. I couldn't help but feel sympathy for her - she’s probably stuck in a tough spot, forced into this by more skilled, dishonest people from her own country. Makes me wonder if she's pushed into doing even worse stuff just to get by for those crooks.

Just got a missed call from 01265 824938 but didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave a voicemail either. I’ve heard that calls from 01265 usually turn out to be TalkTalk scams, so be careful if you get a ring from that number.

When I checked the number with 1471, it came up as 01265 958762. This was on the 12th of June at about 1:21pm. I got an automated message saying my Internet was down and to press a number for more info. I pressed ‘1’ since it seemed the natural choice. Right after that, it sounded like the line just dropped. Just to mention, my Internet was working fine so this call was pretty weird from the start.

On 29/02/2020 I got a recorded call saying my Amazon Prime was renewing and they'd take money from my bank. I hung up quick before they could scam me for my bank info to stop the payment. Ridiculous coz Ive never had an Amazon Prime account anyway.

01265741426 Got a call from this number today. They’ve called me a few times already, so I flagged it as a scam and blocked them. Didn’t pick up this time, but they left a weird voicemail saying I’m supposedly going to be arrested for tax evasion and to press some keys to avoid it. Totally false, obviously. I’m really fed up with these calls now. I don’t bother answering or replying, but it’s still so irritating to keep getting them.
