Picked up the phone and some bloke claimed he was ringing from Carphone Warehouse but never used my name. He started chatting straight away but spoke with a thick accent and I couldn’t make out much of what he was saying. I asked him to speak slower and say it again, then he just ended the call. Checking reviews later, seems like it was a dodgy scam call anyway.

Received a call from a distant call centre, presumably from Asia. They insisted they were representing EON, attempting to persuade me to renew a contract that's supposedly about to expire. I received a call on my mobile from this number, claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse and speaking to my 8-year-old daughter.
