I told the bloke on the phone that I was calling from my hospital bed after a crash a couple of hours back (not really though lol). Was funny how happy he sounded hearing that. He asked if I knew anything about the other person involved. So, I said it was a deer and it’s chilling in my car boot, ready to be butchered and frozen once I’m out. Then I asked if he fancied a venison steak. He just ended the call on me, haha!

Got a call about some accident claim scam, I just said the crash was entirely on me and that I’m already doing four years behind bars for it, so best not ring me again or the cops will take my phone off me. They ended the call pretty quickly :)

I'm nearing the finish line of my agreement with EE, and I'm utterly fed up with receiving a constant stream of calls from various numbers. To make matters worse, I've been hearing tales that scammers are impersonating genuine callers, which makes me too apprehensive to return any missed calls. It's utterly ludicrous because there’s a chance it could be an authentic call, but honestly, I'm just at the end of my tether with all this nonsense.

Same old accident fraudsters ringing me up. Every now and then, I ask them which accident they mean, saying "I've had a few", and of course, they always look clueless. Next time, I might tell one I can't chat because "I fibbed on my insurance renewal" just to watch how they respond.

Got a call from some motor investigations lot saying i’d been in an accident. I asked for info but they said i’d mentioned an accident on my last insurance renewal and that it’d happened in the past two years. Told them they were talking rubbish and ended the call.

They've been ringing me daily for the past two months, and now I've had to warn them about legal consequences if they bother me again. Ended up telling them to shove off and slammed the phone down. Never had an accident, so no idea where they’re coming from with that. Clearly, someone’s cashing in big time by handing our numbers to these firms to pester us. Some woman phoned me claiming I’d supposedly agreed to them checking out a car accident on an insurance form, which is a complete con. I’ve never been in any accident or a passenger in one either. She was really pushy, said they were “motor investigators of Manchester” or summat. Told her straight up no form like that’s been sent in, no accident took place, and I’d be warning my insurer about this dodgy call and asking them to block the number. Proper annoying!
