Got a call saying I’d been in an accident sometime in the last couple of years and there’s £2650 waiting for me! When I said I hadn’t been in any crash, they went on about maybe I was just a passenger in someone else’s car. I just told them off and ended the call. They ring pretty much every day now.

Got a ring from this number and what a nightmare it was, couldn’t make out a single word the guy was saying. He kept calling me Mr Craig like a dozen times, but I told him that’s not me, yet the foreign bloke didn’t want to hear it. I told him to bugger off but he just wouldn’t quit. Motor Investigations rang me up and couldn't even get my name right! The bloke said he was ringing about a car accident I supposedly had in the past two years. Now, I don't drive much, so that was the first red flag. Plus, I've had no accidents, so yeah, very dodgy. Pretty clear this was some sort of scam. I just shot back with a quick, "No thanks, goodbye!" and hung up.

I get calls from these same folks all the time. Usually, I just let them ring out, but they never seem to quit. When I do pick up, I clearly tell them to stop ringing because I’m not keen. Then, without fail, they’re back on the phone the very next day. It’s proper annoying.
