Got a call from Motor Claims saying I’d been in a car accident, but I told them I don’t even drive. They kept insisting I did, and I told them I’m pretty sure I’d know if I’d been driving! Then they tried saying maybe I was a passenger. Honestly, if they were legit, they’d have the right details if I’d made a claim. Complete muppets.

I let him chat away (he’s paying, right?) but it got a bit awkward when I asked where he’d sourced my number from. ‘The Online Enquiry Database,’ he said. Then when I asked to jot it down, he just hung up. Bit of a let-down, I was actually enjoying the banter.

I've received multiple calls daily from this number, and each time they've hung up when confronted. Their behaviour has been rather hostile and discourteous. Despite our requests to take our number off their list, they've flatly refused and even mocked my husband for trying to address the situation. Can someone please intervene and put an end to this madness?

This guy kept interrupting me and acting like he knew everything, saying my number wasn’t listed anywhere and he’d called it himself. I asked if he just guessed my number, which didn’t seem to sit well with him. He kept talking over me, so I told him to be quiet and pay attention. That didn’t go down too well either - he ended up swearing at me! I just laughed and hung up. Hopefully he rings again soon!

Got a call today from Motor Investigation Service, some bloke with a bit of a SA accent who was proper rude and pushy. He said I had some money to claim from an accident, but I’ve never been in one. He kept saying it was maybe a little scratch in a car park or a bump, but that’s a definite no from me. Then he started telling me I was talking rubbish! Haha, instant block from me.

this bloke called michael andrews, sounded proper south african, said he was from some kind of motor claims firm and reckoned i'd had a crash in the past couple of years. I told him straight up it was nonsense and to take me off their calling list. their number got blocked immediately. then last week, they rang again from a nearly identical number (just last 3 digits were different) - blocked that one as well. what a right pain!
