If you’re wondering how they got your info, it’s probably your internet or phone company. Loads of them outsource customer service to call centres abroad, often in Indo-Asian places, and those folks sometimes sell your details around! Companies like BT and TalkTalk do it, but honestly it’s everywhere nowadays. You can thank the Tory Government for handing our services over to dodgy businesses.
