Got a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming to be from the NHS. I’d like to share my experience regarding that Covid vaccination. When I was asked a few questions, the individual claimed to be part of the Track and Trace team for Public Health. However, he quickly diverted the conversation to inquire about life insurance. Clearly, he wasn’t being truthful about his identity, so I decided to cut the call short and block him. Not the way I wanted to spend my lie-in on a bank holiday, I must say! Quite annoyed, really.

SCAM ALERT! Make sure to report every scam call or text straight to the police fraud website. Just search for ‘action fraud’ and head over to ‘police.uk’. Find the page about ‘reporting phishing attempts’ and make sure you read all the info there. Then put in the details of the scam, including any URLs or links you’ve got. You don’t have to sign up or give personal info unless you’ve actually lost money. The only way the police can track these crooks is if we all report each attempt we get.
