This was the fourth time I got a call from folks pretending to be the NHS, asking about my covid jab. Then suddenly they started asking if I had life insurance. I told the caller I didn't trust him and demanded to speak to a supervisor. He refused to put me through. When I asked where exactly they were calling from, he wouldn't say. I then requested a callback number, which he didn’t give. I pushed for an address next, and he just made up some Nottingham postcode. Total nonsense if you ask me, feels like they’re just trying to push life insurance on unsuspecting people.

Somebody pretending to be from the NHS covid 19 team called me. They seemed to know loads about me, even my vaccination info. Total scam! I told them I was a nurse and couldn’t chat, then they just ended the call. Tried ringing the number back afterwards and it was nowhere to be found. Got a call from someone claiming to be with the NHS, updating covid-19 info because apparently my GP hadn’t been handling it recently. They didn’t give me any details and when I refused to answer their questions, they said they’d send a letter to confirm. Oddly, they already had my house number and postcode! I told them I’d check with my doctor, who’s never heard a thing about this. They’ve obviously got this phone number now in case they ring again. The caller had a strong Indian accent and said they’d ring me back. I blocked the number straight away.
