I received a call on my landline from this number, but unfortunately, I wasn’t quick enough to pick up! They didn’t bother to leave a message on the answering machine either!

Honestly, I reckon that even if a certain moist towelette claims it's all above board, don't be fooled – it's likely a ruse. That very wet wipe could well be linked to some dodgy characters.

I’ve seen on another website that quite a few folks are suggesting this number belongs to a firm posing as Eon. This has rung through to me for the second time now, and honestly, if it was genuinely Eon, I would expect them to contact me from an official number, wouldn’t you? If it is Eon actually after my payment, they’ll just have to hang tight until Friday, as that’s when my wages come in!

Had a rather peculiar phone call at 4 o'clock this morning from a number I don't recognise. Really unsettling!

I received a call from this number at half past five this morning, but when I answered, there was complete silence. I tried calling back, and yet again, it went dead. When I later checked my bank account, I was shocked to find a £690 overdraft on my statement, but I don’t even have any overdraft arrangement! I'm absolutely livid about this situation.

I received a call from this number and when I attempted to return the call, it was immediately disconnected. I’ve got a feeling this might be a scam, so I'd advise everyone to be cautious!

+441157180950 received a call from this number and it appeared to be based in Nottingham. When I picked up, they promptly disconnected without saying a word. I'm feeling quite wary about this; it certainly seems like a scam or at the very least, an annoyance.

I received a call from this number at the crack of dawn, around 5am, whilst I was fast asleep. When I attempted to return the call, it didn't connect at all. Does anyone know whose number this might be?

I've noticed these con artists are now fiddling with their digits. Just received a call from a number ending in 49, purporting to represent Eon and discussing an overdue bill. I won't deny it; I am behind on my Eon payment, but something about the call felt suspicious. This time, the caller had a South African accent. They've said they’ll ring me again in a few days.

I just had an experience with what I thought was EON, but it turns out it wasn't the genuine number at all. It was a complete charlatan masquerading as one of their staff members. They tried to get me to respond to some so-called security questions. Quite the con, I must say!

23/03/22 - 0115 718 0950 - They claim to be from e-on next and tried to verify my identity with a series of questions. I mean, really? If you're the one calling me, surely you have my information already! Absolutely dodgy behaviour, definitely a scam!

Eon Next in Nottingham will give you a ring if you have some outstanding payments or debts with them, and so forth.

Even after I'd put a block on this number yesterday, they somehow still managed to sneak a message onto my voicemail. Quite frustrating!
