I received a call on my mobile, but as soon as I picked up, the line went dead.

I had a rather pushy individual trying to convince me to share information about a prepaid funeral scheme.

I recently received a missed call from 01157180956. I returned the call only to discover it was associated with One Life Funeral Planning. I've had enough of that nonsense, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number!

As soon as the phone rang, the caller launched right into my first name, which raised all sorts of alarms for me. I didn’t have a clue whose number it was. So, I paused for a moment and replied with, "Who’s this?" Only for the line to go dead on their side. How very suspicious!

I received a call where the person knew my first name, which I found rather off-putting. It's quite unprofessional to address someone you’ve never met on a first-name basis, so I decided to hold off for a moment, but then they just ended the call. I've read comments suggesting that it was a wise decision. I’ll be blocking this number without a doubt!

I rang my wife's mobile yesterday. After doing a bit of research on this site, I think it was definitely wise to blacklist that number.

I received a rather unexpected call from a loans firm using this number, informing me that a loan I had no intention of applying for had been pre-approved. They even had the cheek to know my name, which struck me as quite unsettling.

They keep ringing me at least four times daily. From what I can gather, it looks like a scam of some sort.

Seems like I've received a call from some loan company, and given that I've never sought a loan, there's no reason they should possess my number. Ended up giving them a piece of my mind, to say the least!
