Got a text saying 60p had been taken from my Virgin card with an account number that defo wasnt mine (ended in XXXX though). It asked me to reply Y to confirm or N to deny. Wasn’t sure at first so I looked up the account numbers and quickly realised I haven’t used that card in ages. So I just ignored the whole message.

I got a message from this number indicating they'd halted a PaybyPhone transaction for a grand total of £0.00. It asked me to reply with a Y or N. Definitely a scam, if you ask me. Total nonsense!
