My mother has been getting charged by 88227 for quite a while now, and she wasn’t even aware of it until recently. I tried sending a 'STOP' text to that number, but it seems to be failing miserably. What a nuisance!

I've found myself being billed by xwin for several months now, with a consistent deduction of £3.75 every week. It's quite frustrating! Does anyone have any advice on how I can put an end to this? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Beware of this number - it's linked to a bunch of con artists! Avoid any interactions with this Xin Win outfit or their websites; they'll try to squeeze you for money, and good luck getting any reimbursement from your phone provider. It's daylight robbery at its finest! These scoundrels deserve to face the music for their shady dealings.

I've been hit hard for £170 in just the last half a year and I can’t seem to put a stop to these dodgy charges. The text I send to opt out doesn’t seem to make a difference, and the so-called 'customer support' number is nothing but a con. O2 couldn’t care less and want to fleece me for £35 just to change my phone number. It's looking more and more likely that I’ll be switching providers.

I've been getting hit with a £3.75 charge from this number every Sunday for the last eight months! Just sent a text saying 'STOP' to 88227, but it looks like another charge is on the horizon. I’m really hoping it does the trick, but if it doesn't, does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do next?

I've been getting incessant texts from this number several times each month. I initially dismissed it as mere spam, but then I noticed a rather alarming uptick in my phone bill. Upon reviewing the detailed statements, I saw that they were hitting me for £3.75 every time they messaged! I desperately need to put a stop to this and block them to prevent any further unwarranted charges.

Have you managed to track down that address? I've been searching high and low for it myself, but to no avail. I'm also keen to get my hands on a refund form.

Like many others, I’ve found myself on the wrong end of a bit of a swindle, being billed £3.75 a week for nearly nine months now. I reached out to them via email to demand a refund, and lo and behold, they called back almost immediately! They insisted I’d signed up for a Tesco promotion without properly grasping the terms and conditions. In their eyes, that was the end of the matter. I’m left pondering whether taking it to the Small Claims Court might actually provide a glimmer of hope in reclaiming my hard-earned cash. What do you reckon?

For the past five months, a sum of £3.75 has been debited from my account every single Friday. I've just flagged this issue with my provider, O2, who suggested that if I send a text saying STOP to 88227, it should cease the deductions. I remain sceptical and won't be convinced until I see the results this coming Friday!

I'm facing a similar dilemma myself. I've been attempting to get O2 to put a halt to that number, but they seem to be slow off the mark. Meanwhile, I'm still racking up charges for these unwanted messages. It's the last thing I can afford right now, especially considering how tight things are financially each month!

Whilst perusing my O2 statement not long ago, I stumbled upon a weekly charge of £3.75 attributed to 88227. A little digging revealed it was linked to XinWin, a service I had hastily ditched, believing it to be nothing more than a nuisance. I certainly hadn’t signed up for this and I’m beginning to think recovering my lost funds might be a lost cause. Regardless, I've taken the liberty of marking it as spam on my mobile and shot them a message saying 'STOP', so fingers crossed that does the trick!

I've noticed that my mobile phone bill has been steadily creeping upwards over the last few months. It has only just dawned on me that I've been entered into a competition offering a whopping £500. I've been receiving weekly texts from something called XinWin, which I've been completely ignoring, completely unaware that I'd inadvertently signed up for this competition and was being billed £4.50 every week for the pleasure of these messages! Just now, when I finally opened one of those texts, I spotted in tiny print at the bottom that I could simply send STOP to 88227 to halt them! What I'm really keen to know is how I can reclaim the money that's been taken from me and where I can turn to for assistance in tackling these dubious schemes?

I've noticed that since April 2016, I've been billed a monthly fee of £15 by your company. The most recent statement I received on 6 December 2016 showed a charge of £7.50. This adds up to a grand total of £112.50, linked to the mobile number 07885503036. I kindly request a full refund at your earliest convenience. Best wishes, Shorena.

I've noticed that I've been billed £3.75 each week for the last four weeks. I suspect it all started after I received a message from M&S about a chance to win some vouchers. I've gone ahead and sent a request to stop these charges, so fingers crossed this will put an end to it.

Absolutely infuriating! My elderly mother, who relies on her pension, has fallen victim to this despicable scam. I keep receiving messages for services I’ve never signed up for! It’s quite frustrating, to say the least. Not to mention, I noticed a charge of £4.50 on one of my accounts and another hefty £15.00 on a different one. What’s going on here?

I've noticed a recurring fee of £15.00 on my mobile bill from this number for the past three months! Can anyone advise on how I might go about retrieving a refund? Cheers!

I kindly request that you put an end to these calls to my number, as they are racking up charges of £4.50 each time. If this continues, I will have no choice but to reach out to the proper authorities. Additionally, if there happens to be any possibility of a refund, I would appreciate it if you could issue a cheque for that amount. Thank you very much.

I've come across a bit of dodginess here. I texted them with STOP ALL, and they responded with a message saying: "Cheers, we've noted your request to cease all text communications." Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I dialled this number, 03332020478, which was provided by my telecom provider, to request a refund. They directed me to the website xienquire.xinwin.co.uk for the refund application. The form is indeed available, and I’ve already filled it out and sent it off. Now, I’m just twiddling my thumbs, waiting for an update. According to the automated voice I heard from 88227, I should expect a response within a week to ten days, and it looks like the refund will be processed via cheque.

I found myself being billed £4.50 for every text that came through, which racked up to well over £30 in total. This sort of nonsense really needs to be put to an end!

Lately, I've been receiving messages from this number and it's costing me £3.75 for every one. I certainly haven’t subscribed to anything, and whenever I attempt to reply with STOP, it simply won't go through, showing an error as "failed." This feels like a right con and I believe it warrants some serious scrutiny.

I’m in a bit of a pickle here! It seems that I've been hit with an unexpected £30 charge on my phone bill from the number 88227. Can anyone advise me on how to put a stop to this? I’m also wondering if there's any chance of recouping the dosh, as it looks like it’s cropping up again on my latest statement. Feeling quite vexed about the whole situation! 😠

I’ve noticed an alarming charge of £30.00 on my mobile bill from 88277! That’s £3.75 per message, and quite frankly, it’s outrageous. I certainly haven’t subscribed to any service, so this situation is beyond frustrating! 😡😡

I had a lengthy chat with the representatives from this number, and they directed me to a website where I could claim back £3.75 for every text message I received. They sent me five texts altogether, and I’m eager to get my money back. However, judging by the comments here, it appears rather dubious. Should I fail to secure a full refund, I won’t hesitate to consult with a solicitor and will certainly consider pursuing this matter through the courts.

Like some others have mentioned, I entered my mobile number for a 'complimentary' Lidl competition, and lo and behold, they deducted £4.50 from my account before I even had a chance to send a stop message. To be fair, I don’t frequently check my phone and it’s often powered down.

I keep receiving calls from this number that I neither asked for nor have any interest in. To make matters worse, I've been billed £18.75 and I need that money back immediately, please. It’s absolutely baffling that Xinion Ltd didn’t even bother to identify who was calling me.

I’ve just realised that a recurring charge of £3.75 has been appearing on my mobile phone bill each week for the past month, maybe even longer, as I’m unable to check last month’s statement. I’ve sent a text saying "STOP" and got a reply confirming they’ve acknowledged my request to halt all text services. However, there’s no clear assurance that the charges will cease! I never signed up for any such service, so I really shouldn’t be liable for these fees!

I recently dabbled with my Tesco Clubcard account and somehow found myself enrolled in a competition. Almost instantly, I got a message revealing I'd been placed into a service that charges £4 a month. If I wished to opt-out, it instructed me to text 88227. I've now discovered that in order to cease the messages, I've had to fork out £3.75. Cheers for that, Tesco!

You can obtain the vlocked number via your mobile provider, or alternatively, you might wish to ring up the telecommunications company at 03332027723. Should you encounter any spam messages, simply forward them to 7726 at no extra cost. If you have concerns about being a target, don't hesitate to reach out to PhonepayPlus for assistance.

I've received a few messages from this number regarding a competition linked to Tesco, but I wasn't aware it was a premium rate line that incurs charges for responses. I've raised a complaint with Vodafone, who have since blocked the number and assured me that I won't face any future charges. Is Tesco even aware of this situation?

I reached out to O2 for some guidance. They instructed me to send a "STOP" message to 88227, which I dutifully did. However, upon receiving my O2 bill today, I noticed they’ve slapped a charge of £0.083 for that text! How cheeky is that?

Since signing a new contract with O2 back in August, I've found myself facing extra charges on two occasions due to supposed calls to 88222, which I can confidently say I did not make. I reached out to O2 yesterday; they assured me they’d investigate. However, when I raised the issue in August, I was told that the charges would be waived, but that hasn't happened.

Beware of Lottery.xinwin.co; it's nothing but a scam! They sneakily charged me £4.50, making it seem like I was entering a competition. The moment they snagged my mobile number, it was game over. The terms and conditions only appear after they've pocketed your money. It’s a complete swindle, no doubt about it! 100% scammers, I tell you!

Cease all messaging to them immediately; that's where your expenses stem from! If you’re that easily fooled, perhaps it's time to set limits on your phone. They can't simply demand payment for just having your number - if that were the case, the whole phone directory would be raking in the cash. That’s undoubtedly what they’re after. You’ll only incur charges if you send a message to a premium-rate number, regardless of whether you text STOP or CONTINUE. I'm so relieved that I put a cap on my wife's mobile plan!
