I received a text message on September 3rd, 2022: "RM0 HLB: Dear Customer, You still have an outstanding balance of AL due on July 9, 2001. We will engage Gala Track Sdn Bhd - 0392326000, a collection agency, to collect the remaining amount of RM8361.01 on our behalf in 9 days from the date of this SMS. If you have any inquiries, please contact 0379591888. The appointment of the collection agency will not affect your rights and obligations." I chose to ignore the message, but then I received another one yesterday: "RM0 1/3 HLB: Dear Customer, You still have an outstanding balance of AL due on July 9, 2001. We will engage CCR Networks Sdn Bhd, a collection agency, to collect the remaining amount."

On 1st February 2019, I received a message stating that my mobile number (XXX-XXX 9591) had been registered to receive a TAC. However, I do not have any account or credit card with HLB, and my phone number does not end with 9591.<br> Moving forward to 6th February 2019, I received another message informing me that an HLBB card ending in 0799 had been debited with RM30.00 at CTX SC PBGNN S.K.ME.<br> Then on 13th February 2019, a transaction on the debit card ending in 0799 failed at Petron MACA due to insufficient funds.<br><br> Well, scammers should just give up as they won't succeed next time!
