Exactly what happened to me. Got a couple of texts from 68359 which I just ignored, then another text from some other number I blocked straight away. Contacted Netflix both times and got mixed answers, but one of them told me they never send texts, only emails. I did get password reset emails though, and they were legit, like, the same time I was chatting with their support.

Got a text outa nowhere with some verification code. The next day, got another message sayin my billing info had to be checked. Figured it was dodgy and blocked the number. When I tried to sign in to Netflix, I had to reset my password. The code was supposed to come by text but cos I’d blocked the number, it never arrived. Unblocked it and then got the code fine. Are scammers somehow sending stuff pretending to be from the real Netflix number? Weird tech trick if so!

Got a Netflix verification code out of the blue during the night while I was fast asleep. Didn’t ask for it at all. I’ve reported it, but the call seemed to come from what looked like a genuine Netflix number, since I got a proper code from it before. Might be someone spoofing the actual Netflix contact. Definitely never share your verification codes with anyone. I’ve alerted both Netflix and Action Fraud UK. Gonna just delete it now.
