Never bother to ring them back! Before long, they lose interest in that number. This works a treat with those pesky 0845, 0800, and private number calls. And don’t forget to take your time blocking these digits. The downside is, there’s an abundance of nincompoops who find joy in making these irritating calls or trying to con us! I can’t imagine what poor Alexander Bell would think if he knew the chaos his invention would unleash with just a simple thought of creating a 'telephone'.

I managed to track down this number for Baines and Ernst, the debt advice firm, directly from their site: 0800 138 7153. I gave them a bell just now, requesting they remove my number from all their databases and to refrain from calling me in the future. Let’s see how that pans out!

All I've been offered is to press 5 for a package, which I reluctantly did. But the moment I tried to inquire about the company or requested them to take my number off their list, they just hung up. I'm baffled as to how they even came by my information and what the process is for getting it removed. Absolutely ridiculous!
