This number keeps ringing me non-stop, and it looks like their only tactic is to trick you into calling back at crazy high charges so you can be taken off their calling list - though they never actually do it. Does anyone know how I can block them without having to shell out any money?

Got a call on my phone today from a number I’ve no idea where they got it from! Didn’t pick up this time or before cos I didn’t know the caller. Honestly, it’s starting to get a bit annoying.

Got a call from this number just now, asking me to press "5" to get a free debt package. I ignored it completely. I’ve no debts, my number’s ex-directory and I’m pretty sure I’m not on any marketing lists. I’m a solicitor, but not sure if this kind of call is actually against the law (seems dodgy to me). Anyone got details on who’s behind this or an address? If so, maybe we should all send letters warning them we’ll report to Ofcom and trading standards - that’s the best idea I’ve got right now.

Absolute scum. I keep a phone just for emergencies, with the number known only to my daughter, so I can avoid random calls when I don’t feel like dealing with anyone else. Got a call at my job and it looked like they were just dialing out randomly. There was a recorded message about wiping £70,000 off your debts. Since my daughter’s struggling with debt, I hit 5 to chat with someone. They said they'd send some info to my house.
